Philadelphia has added an elite shooter around Joel Embiid and their young core as JJ Redick has agreed to a 1 year $23M deal per Adrian Wojnarowski:
JJ Redick has agreed to a one-year, $23 million deal with the 76ers, league sources tell ESPN.

The 33 year old sharpshooter averaged 15.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists last year in 78 games with the L.A. Clippers. He shot 42% from three on 6 attempts per game, and knocked down a career high 201 shots from the great beyond.
With this signing the 76ers have an elite floor spacer who will most likely start but who will also be a great mentor for the young 76ers. Playing alongside Embiid, newly drafted Markelle Fultz and Dario Saric will be a tantalizing sight for 76er fans.
Redick had suitors from many teams, including the Rockets, Timberwolves, and Nets, however with the 76ers he gets a chance to play with a young team that should really make some noise in the eastern conference.
The one year deal is interesting concerning Redick, as he will be back on the market in 2018 with a chance to earn one final multi-year deal. It also helps the 76ers as they have no expensive ties to him long term and won’t have to worry about any serious decline unless they choose to resign him.
