The Bears went out and padded their depth at the quarterback position. They agreed to a one-year deal with ex-Cowboy Mark Sanchez. Sanchez only played in two games with the Cowboys, but had previously played with the Eagles and Jets. In his seven-year career he has exactly the same amount of touchdowns and interceptions with 86.
Sanchez is expected to come in and hold the clipboard for the newly acquired Mike Glennon, but it’s good that the Bears have depth.
Many probably only remember Sanchez for the famous “butt fumble”
Or if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, he has been caught trying to sneak in a meal on the sidelines. Please Mark, as a Bears’ fan, I ask you to do two things; don’t bring this crap to Chicago and if you’re going to have a snack on the sideline it better be some deep dish pie.
Bears’ fans should take this move for exactly what it is; not great and not bad. Don’t expect anything from Sanchez, but he may have to take the field if Glennon plays poorily.
