Play of the Night: Spurs-Grizzlies, March 23rd

Time to read: 1 minute

Reaction: Go, Spurs, GOOOO!!!!

I’ve watched this play over a dozen times and it still amazes me. I mean, yeah… it’s the Spurs, but be honest, this is one of the most beautiful plays you’ve ever seen. It’s starts with an incredible defensive effort by Kawhi Leonard to both deflect and save that ball from going out of bounds. On the save, he tosses it to LaMarcus Aldridge who passes it in transition to Tony Parker at half-court, who then passes it to Patty Mills. Then the ball goes back to Parker, then back to Mills who hits the contested lay-up. They did all of that without a single dribble. Now that’s Spurs basketball.
