Gordon Hayward was on his game Monday night against the Indiana Pacers, setting a new career-high in scoring with 38 points. Unfortunately, his efforts came somewhat unrewarded as the Jazz lost by seven, their third loss in a row. He later spoke on both the loss and his new career-high in scoring saying, “I would rather have had zero points and won the game.” His teammate Rudy Gobert, also set a new career-high, only his was in blocks with 8.
This loss ended Utah’s four-game road trip. Their next game will come against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
