Many around the league suspected that when the Milwaukee Bucks dealt Roy Hibbert to the Denver Nuggets, that it was in an effort to free up a roster spot for the Bucks. Those suspicions were somewhat confirmed early Saturday morning, when Milwaukee added Axel Toupane to their roster on a 10-day contract.
Per Kieth Smith of Real GM, FanRag Sports, CelticsBlog and 16 Wins a Ring–
Axel Toupane has officially signed his 10 Day Contract with the Bucks. Had been playing in NBADL with Raptors 905. Played in DEN last year.

As Smith mentioned, Toupane is being called from the Toronto Raptors D-League affiliate, the Raptors 905. In the D-League this season, he has averaged an impressive 16.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He also participated in the D-League All-Star game last Saturday, February 18th.
This will also be Toupane’s second stint in the NBA. In his 21 games with the Nuggets last season, he averaged 3.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists, all while shooting .357% from the field and .325% from beyond the arc.
