Thursday night, Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis went down with an ankle injury in the second quarter of New York’s match-up against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Porzingis left the arena in a walking boot (for precautionary reasons), which left many fans in fear of what may be in store for the second-year big man’s short-term future. It was also stated that the Knicks would not evaluate the injury with x-rays until the team got back to New York.
It’s not all bad news though, as The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported a quick update on the promising young Latvian’s injury.
Per Adrian Wojnarowski–
Source: Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis will be out several days with ankle injury, but no ligament damage. For now, only swelling.
