We all remember earlier in the year when Lebron was was clearly upset with the direction of the franchise. Lebron called his team top heavy and demanded management to get him another playmaker. He might get it soon.
Despite the trade deadline having come and gone teams can still get players if they’re waived. Former all star Deron Williams was waived Thursday by the Dallas Mavericks and is expected to sign with the Cavaliers if he clears waivers.
Deron Williams used to be one of the top two point guards in the league and was always near the top of the league in assists. Williams can easily be that second playmaker Lebron wanted so badly.
This year Williams is averaging 13 points and seven assists and that will add some more depth to a team looking to go to its third straight finals.
