Just when you think this year’s NBA trade deadline couldn’t get more chaotic, reports now come out that multiple teams are pursuing Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker.

It’s currently unknown as to the severity of any of these talks, but it does seem very likely that Tucker is dealt before the deadline. Especially considering all of the teams Scotto listed are looking to add pieces that would make them serious contenders in their respected Conference. Tucker is currently averaging 7.0 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per game on the season.
While Tucker’s numbers may appear lackluster to some, but that’s not exactly why he’s so sought after. Many teams appear to value his defensive capabilities and willingness to come off the bench.
