Two days ago -Christmas day to be exact- LeBron debuted the LeBron 14, in his win over the Golden State Warriors. Along with it, Nike gave us an official look at LeBron’s upcoming signature shoe. We don’t know much about the tech utilized in the LeBron 14, but we do have a general feel for things right now.
It appears to feature maximum volume Zoom Air units which will a response like no LeBron model has seen before (hopefully it will provide even more comfort and support than the KD 9s). It also sports a dynamic midfoot strap to provide additional lockdown support and overall fit, as well as a dual-zone composite upper.
Unfortunately, Nike did not give us a release date for the LeBron 14. But stay tuned to RealBallInsider for more information.
I really wish I could say that I was excited about LeBron’s upcoming signature shoe, but just… ugh. Honestly, these aren’t very attractive to look at which has caused me to seriously question the direction that Nike’s been taking LeBron’s signature line. Both the LeBron 13 and the Soldier 10, looked terrible and were poor performance shoes. So, here’s hoping the LeBron 14 will be different.
Be sure to let me know what you think about the shoe in either the poll below, or on twitter. I’m definitely interested in hearing your opinion.
