This comes as a surprise as Jamal Crawford played 5 seasons for the New York Knicks from 2004-09. The Knicks are some serious need for some offense off the bench as it is currently looking thin. Outside from Carmelo Anthony and occasionally Arron Afflalo, the Knicks do not have many players who can create their own offense and or distribute the ball after breaking down the defense. Jamal Crawford would add a capable scorer to the Knicks as well as a pick and roll ball handler. It is unclear as to who or what the Knicks would be willing to give up in order to acquire the shooter but buzz around the league is that the clippers are selling low in order to clear cap space.
