LeBron James has been the Cleveland Cavaliers best GM even before re-joining them as a 2014 free agent. The main reason the Cavaliers were able to get and retain star forward Kevin Love was because Lebron convinced him that being with the Cavs he would be able to win a ring. Now, Lebron’s toughest task is to somehow and someway help his team retain his dear friend – Tristan Thompson. This has proven to be a task so difficult that it might not ever be accomplished and the latest news out of Thompson’s camp is that if he signs the qualifying offer, it will be his last in a Cleveland uniform. Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com tweeted –
Thompson signing QO w/ Cavs hasn’t been decided yet, I’m told. But if he signs it, told it would be last season he plays as a Cav.
Now the Cavaliers have an ordeal that can not be ignored. Is this a bluff in order to raise his leverage or is this a warning of things to come?
