Softest Players in the NBA
Have you ever sat back and thought “wow that player is so soft, how could he let someone do that to him?” Well we have too and we have come up with a list of players who look like complete fools on the court while being punked around. We will do this weekly and list 3 new players every week. We work hard trying to update you guys with the latest news on our twitter account @RealBallInsider and thought we could use some laughter out of the league. Well to start our new RBI Original here are our first 3 soft players: Timofey Mozgov, Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James. Yes we are coming out strong this week taking aim at the leagues best players and an arguably top 10 player in the league. Mozgov is just a can’t miss for reasons which will be explained below.
Timofey Mozgov has been on the wrong end of posters for the last 3 or so years. At 7″1 250 lbs should anyone be getting dunked on? Blake Griffin has at least 2 posters at home featuring himself dunking all over our poor friend Mozgov. He is a big presence in the paint when he’s not getting blocked, stripped, knocked down or getting dunked on. I mean maybe Anderson Varejao can teach him how to be a man in the paint? or its too late and he will always just be known on the Russian center who always got dunked on.
Carmelo Anthony is from Baltimore, but he sure doesn’t act like it. He has seen many fights on the basketball court. He even got a hit in, but theres only one problem, when he hit he ran. If thats not soft then I don’t know what is. Hey, don’t get me wrong the man battles in the paint he is the best post up Small Forward in the league but when the times get tough, ‘Melo gets running. I wish it wasn’t this way as he is one of my favorite players to watch but sometimes you want to see one of your favorite players put up a fight against people who try to punk them.
Last but not least is the man himself, Lebron James. He is taller, heavier and stronger than most of his opponents. He bullies his way through defenses and dishes some heavy blows while doing it. That would mean a lot if he could take these blows as well as he could dish them. He flies 10 feet back at the point of any contact and tends to find himself flopping on the floor on too many plays. When defenders play too physical on him he cries for calls and if he doesn’t get them he cries some more. He’s not as soft as Mozgov but he doesn’t always play like the physical specimen he actual is and he’s soft for that. Sorry ‘Bron I know you’re a beast, but please stop being so soft!
